Wait for 1.6 or upgrade to 1.5.1?

Hi,

I'm currently using 1.3.8a and need to upgrade, but I was wondering whether to upgrade to 1.5.1 or wait for 1.6. Is there any chance of 1.6 being available in the next 6 weeks or so? If not, that's fine, I'll just go with 1.5.1. I just thought I ask, as I didn't want to go through the whole upgrade process only to find out that if I'd waited a few more weeks 1.6 would be available.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

138a is very unstable ....
Upgrade to 1.5.1 ...

AND....

Make sure before you make the jump that all your mods are going to be compatible with 1.5.1. 1.3.9h is stable and will be able to use all mods for 1.3.8a

Regardless of which you choose, you should upgrade yesterday!

Unstable? a bit wrong word used there. Unsecure maybe but not unstable.

I have clients still using 1.3.8, wihout any STABILITY issues. One of them has been hacked a few times, but they still insist they can't afford an upgrade of their heavily modded site.

Sorry this is splitting hairs here.. IMHO UNSECURE is UNSTABLE.. How is a site that gets "hacked a few times" a stable site??? And your client is probably wasting more money recovering from hacks than they would have spent in just getting their site updated..
