Lost on what to do

I am new here . Just hooked up with Hostgator and I loaded the zencart on my site. I cannot get the message across the top off my page ( Sales message goes here ) I dont have much knowledge when it comes to web design. So hopefully someone can give some hints on how to get the message off so that I can put my business name up there.

Oh acually I read this to but the problem I am having is that I was looking thru my define page editor think that it should be in there. But I have not been able to find it. So looking to see if maybe Im looking in the wrong tab or something.

That is not a define page

Use your FTP program and download the file to your PC
Open it in a code editor and make your changes
Save it and upload it to your template override folder

To change the “Sales Message Goes Here” or “Tagline Here” text to say what you want open the includes/languages/english/header.php file in your text editor

Once again, I'll refer you to the FAQs. You'll wear out your welcome here pretty quickly by asking all these basic questions that are answered there.

So far, most of the things you're looking for are the language-related items. You should familiarize yourself with your admin's *Tools->Developers Tool Kit *where you can perform searches for both language values (like Congratulations) and, once you get into the coding, PHP code fragments, too! The tool searches your Zen Cart installation for the phrase you supply and will let you know which file (or files) contain the phrase.

Ok thanks. I will check. Sorry just pretty new to the whole thing of coding and everything. Last website I had for the last 3 years was a pretty simple one. Pretty much just added pictures did a small amount of html and had no shopping cart kind of add ons...............Thanks again
