How do I make my current url point to my new store?

Hello,

I made a brand new store in a folder called store. It is all set and ready to I just need to point my stores URL to this folder called store, how would I do that? Thank you!

Thanks Stevesh, I did look at that post. I followed all the instructions on how to change the name of the folder to "store" but I don't understand how to make the url point to the folder. Example I type in https://www.mystore.com and it goes to my current site, but I need to make https://www.mystore.com point to the new folder named "store" I'm sure the answer is there but I don't follow...could you nudge me in the right direction? Thanks!

If you are not going to use your "current site" - why not move your ZenCart to the root of your account instead of in a folder

You just follow the instructions in the link that stevesh provided except moving them to "/" instead of "/folder"

I would create a folder like "scrap" and move all files at "/" into it
Then move all zencart files from the folder to "/"
Adjust the configure.php files and you should be good to go

Okay, so my current store reside in public_html. So let me see if I understand... if I take everything that is in public_html and put it in a "scrap" folder for safe keeping and then move everything from the folder with my new store into public_html, and change the configure.php files to point to public_html I should be good?

Oh! Now I can't log in to my admin! Was I supposed to do something else? I should be using my login info from the new site I built or the old site? (neither work)

Everything that my customers see seems to be working...

When I first tried to log in I was prompted to change my password, which I did then it wouldn't work. I tried changing it again but still can't get into the admin!

Also, the old site did not have ssl enabled in the admin (I thought it did) the new one does and that was the reason I got the message to change my password (I got a message saying this). I don't know if that means anything to anyone...

Okay, just so you know. I had to clear my cache, cookies, etc and did so twice to no avail. Another clear and a pc restart and all was well... Hmmm... Thank you for your assistance!
