Free shipping on select items

I must be daft tonight, because I am just not understanding the Free shipping option tonight. Here is my product set up:

1. Most products have USPS and UPS option for shipping.
2. I have 2 products (zero weight specified) shipping is included in price (as stated in description). Would like no charge on shipping.
3. 1 product is a download (zero weight specified) no charge for shipping.

What I would like is for normal shipping options (USPS and UPS) to show for normal products with added weight. If an item that has zero weight is added to the cart (and therefore free shipping), the price does not go up. I am already seeing this. But here is where I have problems. If I only add one of a few products with zero weight, I still see the USPS and UPS options with prices. Is it possible if I only have free shipping items loaded in the cart for USPS and UPS estimates to go away and only free shipping show?

In modules>shipping I have:

1. UPS installed
2. USPS installed
   Now do I install free shipping options or FREE SHIPPER!? I am confused here as to which one to install. I tried both but FREE SHIPPER! did not show up in the shipping estimator and free shipping options did show but so did UPS and USPS as well.

So basically I normally offer USPS and UPS. But if someone just adds a free shipping item, I want the shipping estimator to just have the free shipping option (and not the other 2). Is this possible?

Is the Free Shipping Product a Download or a regular Product?

I am sorry I got it. Makes sense now. For those following or looking for the answer:

1. Install shipping module: FREE SHIPPING! in addition to your other shipping modules.
2. Edit Product Area: For the products with free shipping set the shipping weight to zero.
3. Edit Product Area: Always FREE Shipping: Yes, Always Free Shipping checked.

When items are by themselves just free shipping shows. When with other items that have normal shipping carriers not additional cost is added to the paid shipping.
