CKEditor install issue

This is a fresh install done manually as per the ZenCart site download and instructions. I'm on a dedicated IP Linux server and only my renamed admin folder is under SSL as selected in the install process. PHP version 5.4.10, MySQL version 5.5.30

The only change was the install and customization of a template. All seemed fine until I downloaded, extracted the files and followed the readme instructions for installation of CKEditor. The url still brings up the public site but my admin login page won't load. Explorer gives a page won't load. Firefox gives a blank page and viewing source is also blank. I'm not a coder and although comfortable with Filezilla and some code editing, I'm lost on this issue. Any assistance would be appreciated.

What have you got in your error log folder?

there isn't an error log folder that I can find

thank you anyway picandix. I must have done something wrong on install. I ended up restoring my entire includes subfolder from my back-up and the admin login page came back. I reinstalled it as per readme instructions and it seems to function properly.
