Change name of flat shipping module

Hi,
Years ago I installed additional flat shipping modules, named flat2 flat3 etc.
I'm now trying to change the name that appears in admin/customers/orders, so that instead of saying flat2, it says something like standarddelivery.
There is no option in the language define that names that section of text...

have you looked at the file that should have been created at includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/your_new_flatrate.php

Yes, I have added text for the following
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT2_TEXT_TITLE', 'Standard Courier');
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT2_TEXT_DESCRIPTION', 'Courier charge');
define('MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT2_TEXT_WAY', '2-3 Day delivery');

On a test install I am looking at the invoice and it represents the values entered in the flat.php language module

Is this where you are talking about
admin > customers > orders > edit > invoice

It's just in the Customers/Orders section...

For that you would need to edit the two files replacing all "flat" with "courier"
And all "FLAT" with "COURIER"

Renaming the files from flat.php to courier.php

I would keep the code names simple like courier instead of standard courier as spaces are not acceptable
