HTTP 406 error (Not acceptable) when Submit Sitemap to goole

hi, i try to Submit the Sitemap to goole but i encounter a error :General HTTP error: HTTP 406 error (Not acceptable), HTTP Error: 406, does anyone has this problem?

What is your sitemap's filename? I had a similar problem, although not with a sitemap, that was due to a filename with too many periods in it - that was an issue with my host though.

Otherwise perhaps check out a sitemap debugger online - I used one recently but can't find the link.
