Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

I am transferring a Zen Cart installation for a client and have run into a problem with the Admin menu that I haven't been able to slove.

I am receiving the following error and can't find any info on what might be causing it.

Warning: require(DIR_WS_BOXESconfiguration_dhtml.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /nfs/c02/h04/mnt/17237/domains/wheelpros.ca/html/store/s3cur3/includes/header_navigation.php on line 18

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_BOXESconfiguration_dhtml.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php-5.3.15/share/pear') in /nfs/c02/h04/mnt/17237/domains/wheelpros.ca/html/store/s3cur3/includes/header_navigation.php on line 18

Any help would be really appreciated.

After this install is complete, I can update their version. The fun never ends...

Re: Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

Usxe ftp and navigate to

admin/includes/boxes
Look for configuration_dhtml.php

If it is not there or has a zero byte size get a fresh distribution of the same version and upload it

Re: Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

Thanks for the quick reply!

The file is there and it looks the same as the installation on their previous server.

require(DIR_WS_BOXESconfiguration_dhtml.php)
Notice that there is no space as in
require(DIR_WS_BOXES configuration_dhtml.php)

Post the contents of your admin/includes/configure.php file leaving out database info

Re: Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

The error message you posted in your first post indicates that DIR_WS_BOXES isn't defined.

You posted the non-admin version of configure.php. So, if you thought you were posting the admin version, then I'm guessing you've got the two configure.php files mixed up and that'll be exactly what's causing your problem.

Sorry, that was an error on my part. I copied/pasted the wrong configure file info.

Re: Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

This configure appears to be from ZenCart version 1.5.0 or 1.5.1 as DIR_WS_BOXES was removed from it

When & how was this upgraded from 1.3.8a or if not upgraded - where did this configure file come from??

Re: Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

Ok. I see what might be the issue.

When I installed Zen Cart on the new server I used Media Temple's One-Click install which is 1.50. So we had a fresh install of 1.50. We followed the instructions for transferring Zen Cart from one server to another server but the client's version was 1.38. So when we left the two configure files alone, they were the newer versions of the file and not compatible.

Will copying the 1.38 configure file from their server (updating all the info of course) solve the problem?

Re: Admin Menu (Configure, Catalog) not showing up.

Thank you kobra and DrByte for helping me through this.

Using the newer configure files with the older version was the problem.

Should have updated the install on their server before transferring them to the new server.
