Remove New Products (whatsNew div)

Last few steps and I can start testing. The group I am working for only has one product (water billing), so we don't need a new product (whatsNew div) on the home page. How do I remove it?

Admin->Configuration->Index Listing
Set the Show New Products to 0 (the non-zero values are the sort-order for each of those sections to be displayed)
