Customers Checking out at exactly the same time causing out-of-stock issues

Hi

Because of the way I sell my products I am encountering an issue with stock control in Zencart and wondered if there was a mod or plug-in available to help stop this issue.

The issue is this:

I tend to get a lot of activity on the site in a very short space of time as I put a weekly stock of items up and then advertise the fact on Facebook. This means quite a few people trying to buy the same item at the same time. Currently if 2 or more customers put the same item in their cart and checkout at exactly the same time all of the orders are successful even though there is only 1 item for sale. I then have to refund one of the orders and people are upset.

Is there any technical way round this issue?
