robots.txt error logs

Hello. I keep seeing this in my apache logs.

...[Tue Apr 02 06:57:40 2013] [error] [client 54.235.42.177] File does not exist: /var/chroot/home/content/58/7996358/html/robots.txt
[Tue Apr 02 07:25:18 2013] [error] [client 65.55.215.69] File does not exist: /var/chroot/home/content/58/7996358/html/robots.txt
[Tue Apr 02 08:24:05 2013] [error] [client 65.55.215.43] File does not exist: /var/chroot/home/content/58/7996358/html/robots.txt
....

But I have a file robots.txt in the site root.
If I add in search http://www.giftseshop.com/robots.txt it gives “Page Not Found”
Please steer me in the right direction, I need help. I really have done all that I can do in trying to solve the issue.

This is an Apache issue not a ZenCart issue

Your hosting company can help you find out the correct location for the file. Evidently what you think is the "site root" isn't the same as what the server thinks. Or there may be a permission problem on the file. Both of those are issues to contact your hosting company's support desk about.

Permissions are correct.
Try asking on support desk or hosting forum.
