Download attributes - how do I set up a Mac and Windows version of my files?

What is the best way to set a download for Mac and Windows? Should there be a separate product listing for both? Or is it possible to list them both with a radio button/drop down menu? I would prefer the later method. I've setup many sites with downloads but every time I setup a new one it always seems to confuse me all over again.
