CHROME error on nav mainwrapper (IE and safari ok)

Hi.
Over the past week (or so) my site has stopped appearing correctly in Google Chrome. (I have two sites and both are showing the same error so my guess is that it could be something to do with Chrome).
IN Chrome the links Home Log In etc are wrapped to two rows. Should be one row as in IE.

The appearance is:

Any help adding code (i guess stylesheet.css) to force chrome to comply would be appreciated.

I have now established that problem is specific to the two pc's i have tried. Any input on why and how to prevent it from happening appreciated.
