setting weight on products as grams not lbs

Hi
I do not know if this is the right place to ask this but I will try.
I am installing a shipping module and part of this is the need for a shipping weight to be defined. I have put in 750 for 750 grams but it displays in the checkout as 750 lbs. I have looked everywhere but cannot see the setting for metric not imperial. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

I have looked everywhere but cannot see the setting for metric not imperial. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Advanced search - faq's - I searched for "pounds" - - you will have to adjust this from Kg to Gm
