XML Sitemap - How can I exclude Disabled Products?

Hi, when using the Sitemap XML feature in Zencart, I notice that the sitemap includes links to all my disabled products. When I upload the map to Google, it doesn't like all these pages that are 'not found.' Can I stop it from linking to disabled products? Shouldn't that happen anyway?

Zen Cart does not have a sitemap.xml feature. What plugin/software are you using?
