Meta Tag Error - Won't save updates to category tags.

Hi All, I'm hoping someone will know what might be the problem and can help..?

I am running ZenCart 1.3.8a

Problem:

I noticed oddly when I tried to update a meta tag on any of my categories that afterwards it would direct me back to the admin home screen instead of the category list I was previously on. After updating, I navigate back to the category and check it, nothing has changed, it won't save any updated meta's.

Checks:

1. I am able to create new tags and it saves them. Once saved I then cannot update again.
2. When creating a new category meta tag it takes me back to the correct category page.
3. Product meta tags I can create and update with no problem.
4. When creating product meta's and updating these do as they should and return me to the product page I started on.

Additional Info:

I recently added the CEON URI MAPPING module, I cannot definitively say that this was the cause as I wasn't working with my updating my meta tags before installing.

Can anyone suggest any avenues I can test to find out the root of this problem? Please bear in mind that I am not a programmer and have limited knowledge. So please if you could give me the "idiots guide" to any solution, it woudl be much appreciated.

I have just found an additional problem, it is now not allowing me to create new categories. It is repeating teh same situation taking me back to teh admin home page after hitting save and not creating the cat. I could have lived with the meta tags not saving for a while but this has just mad ethings a lot worse. If anyone can help time is now an issue, thanks.
