Split a heavy item into 2-3 boxes for shipping UPS.

I have Zen Cart 1.5 and also have the Ceon Advanced Shipper.
UPS will not ship anything over 150 lbs. residential.
I have product that weighs as much as 261 lbs. The warehouse ships the heavy items in 2-3 boxes so UPS will take them.
I have 2 places to set max weight ZC shipping/packing and the Ceon module. I have tried high and low combinations in both, but the items over 150 lbs. always come up as too heavy for UPS as they are not being divide into multiple boxes.
I would be great if I could specify multiple packages and their weights in the product listing, but the options don't exist.

I should add that this is a drop ship so I have to try and duplicate what the warehouse does when they split the order up into multiple packages.
So is there a way for 1 items that exceeds a specified weight limit to be split up into multiple packages so that UPS can quote it as such?
If not, what would be a good way to approach this?

Have you set this in

admin > config > Shipping/Packaging > Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship

Do not know how ceon advanced shipper interacts with the default function??
