Downloads Stopped Working - Now Redlights on all downloads

My downloads worked fine for a 2 months. Now they all stopped working and have red lights.
I cannot find anything in the Forum where to start to fix them.

I wrote to GoDaddy. They say its Zen Cart of course.

Does Zen Cart change anything - ie. servers etc. I didn't see anything in the new stuff in the last two months.

PLEASE help. I am losing money everyday... :no:

1 check that you see the download files in your /download directory

2 check that the filenames match what you have set on your Attributes and are written in proper upper/lowercase and extension

3 check the directory /download for its permission

4 check the file:
/download/.htaccess

that it includes the extensions for your download filenames on the lines:

<FilesMatch ".*\.(zip|ZIP|gzip|pdf|PDF|mp3|MP3|swf|SWF|wma|WMA|wmv|WMV|wav|epub)$">

5 test in your browser that you can access one or two of the files:
your_domain_name.com/download/your_filename.ext

I think I love you! It was the permissions! Not sure how they worked before but I am forever grateful!
