Can I do this as a audio video store?

I've got ZC installed and somewhat configured, but thought i should ask if it is capable of doing exactly what I need

I want to set up a store where my kids can upload their songs and videos {mp3, mov, mpeg4, etc.}, so they would be a type of admin that can upload and see only what they uploaded. Then the song will go into the store for sale for course, user would login, be able to listen to a sample of the song or view a sample of the video, then purchase and download.

I am also thinking the user should be able maintain the list of songs/videos they have purchase on the site and listen/view them from within the site.

Does zendCart have these capabilities?

Any insight, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can create different admin users with different capabilities, for example creating/uploading products, but there is not a way to restrict different product-creating admins from editing certain products - it's all or none in that respect.

Customers can view their own order history, but purchased electronic products are downloaded by the user after purchase, not viewed directly on the website with built-in viewers. There are two methods of downloading in Zen Cart, by redirect or streaming, that you may want to investigate (I don't know much about them as I don't have electronic media products). You can set how many times a customer can download an item, up to "unlimited", but that opens it up to them giving the link to all of their friends to download without additional purchase.
