EZ Pages Sidebox

I can't get the EZ pages sidebox to appear and I don't know what else to do...

I have set the sidebox to appear in the configurations menu
I have created the EZ page
I have enabled the sidebox link on the EZ Page created

Note: I have only used EZ pages in the headers and footers before, never in the sidebox so I'm not clear on the process. Does the EZ Page creation process actuall "create" a page or do I need to have one manually created within my files?
