Problems with downloads on browsers other than Chrome

not to bring up an older thread but i have the same issue as http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?198642-Downloadable-products-fail-to-download (but my hosting with godaddy): all downloads will work fine on google chrome but not on IE or Mozilla. any other thoughts or does it lead back to godaddy?

                                               also, when in mozilla (which i use) when it hangs up if I pause  it and then resume it, it will either go all the way or you will have to  repeat this.  godaddy says its nothing with them of course but i see no  other possible cause..?

anyone have any ideas on this....still have the same issue.

1. Based on my previous posts, in the previous thread you mentioned at the start of this discussion, which download method are you using? For it to work on your host, you may need to change it to another method.
2. How do the results change for you using each of the three methods? And which computers are you testing this on?

i will check on which download method i am using when i get home to load zen cart without hanging up. i know i tried them all and had no success with any of them. this is feedback i am getting from my customers complaining about it not working and they keep redownloading them over and over (running them through the checkout) thinking it will make a difference.

totally unrelated to the other issue. that is just a personal work computer issue
