Can I style different product listing pages for different product types?

I want to change the style of the product listing pages depending on what product type is in the category?

I think you can do this with the product info pages for example you have the product_free_shipping_info for the product types for are free shipping?

But is there such a page as something like product_free_shipping_listing so I can change how the free shipping products look on the listing?

The answer really depends on what exactly you're wanting to do.

  1. Can you be more specific about how you want to change the look of free-shipping products?
  2. And what else do you want to style specifically?

Re: Can I style different product listing pages for different product types?

I seem to be using zencart in a slightly stranger way than normal Ill try to explain:

I have two main products I sell on the site, Replacement kitchen doors which I use the zencart functionality normal as you can see here:

http://kitchenwarehouseltd.com/replacement-kitchen-doors/22mm-thick-shaker/dark-walnut

As you can see I use the product pages and grid attributes.

And I also sell complete kitchen units which I use zencart a little differently:

http://kitchenwarehouseltd.com/complete-kitchen-units/high-gloss/burgundy

On this you can see that you cannot click through into the individual product info pages So people add their products to the cart from the product listing page. The problem I am facing is that this list is huge! I am trying to think of a way to separate the big list of units into tabs?

All the units are in the product free shipping and all the doors are just normal products (Simply because I needed a different product type) so Im trying to now come up with how I can do this

You'd need to create a separate tpl_index_product_list.php with a new name, and then in your /includes/modules/pages/index/main_template_vars.php check for which category (cPath) is set, and choose which tpl file to use based on that cPath.
Then you'd use your new tpl_index_product_list_tabbed.php (or whatever name you call it) and probably also a new tpl_modules_product_listing_tabbed.php to affect the new layout you want to the page when that category is selected.
