Attrbutes sort order clarification and help

Hello,

As far as I understand, using attributes has three sort orders :
1-Option sort order
2-Option value sort order (which is the default one)
and finally
3-Attribute sort order

The attribute sort order is only the Option value sort order for an value within an option. The attributes are first sorted by Option sort order and then by value.
Is that right ?

My problem is that I need to sort Options differently on each product but when using the attribute controler I only can set the Value sort order and this only affects the value within the Option which is sorted according to default option sort order.

Is there any simple solution to my problem ? Or any code that I can modify so that the Value sort order affects attributes sort order globally within a product.

Or perhaps an add-on that solve my problem ???
