admin login says wrong pass word- even after I change it

Hello,
I have just switched to hostgator from startlogic hosting. The new hosting move my files and database to their site. when i go to log-in into the cart admin I am getting wrong password message. I changed it threw the change password request and I still get the message. Do I have to change something in the database or?

Cache none or db?

Change config files to db. Close browser and try again.

When it fails again....

Search for adman pword here and follow to the T.

Then try logging in normally.

When that fails delete that user and add new. You will probably have to click forget password one more time.
