Limiting USPS/ first class Domestic/International shipping if over a certain weight

I have been looking through the support threads but could not find it. so please direct me to that thread if this has been answered before..

I want to set up first class shipping restrictions based on weight.

show only Domestic First Class if weight is less than 13OZ & International First Class if weight is less than 4 Pounds

Can any one help with the code? thank you

Have you tried the current USPS shipping module in the Plugins?

It already has these limits ...

Also, First Class for International does not show for orders of $400+ ...

Hello I have a problem with the United States Postal Service Plugin... I am unable to have the first class option at check out.. It is the updated version But please can someone help?

What is the weight of the Order?

What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... for the Maximum Weight and the two Tare Rate settings?

Make sure that you are using the current July 28, 2013 J5 USPS shipping module ...

Go to your Zen Cart Admin and go to Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ...

In the bottom input box enter:
usps.php

Then, select Catalog ... click SEARCH ...

What comes up on the lines for:

• @version $Id: usps.php

This is what I have in that category...

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:3 Info
Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 10:0 Info

Does the weight have to be on all products for it to work???
Because I put it in the shopping cart and its not coming up...

First class for Domestic will not show if you add 3lbs to the Order ... you have the Tare set to add 3lbs:

Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:3 Info

The limit is 13oz ...

International will not show if the weight is over 4lbs ...

additional info... its a couple of oz but not more than 13 oz... all the categories such as
1st-Class Letter$
1st-Class Lg. Env$
1st-Class Parcel$

are checked... The only one's that show up are
Priority Pad. F/R Env$
Priority Sm. F/R Box
Priority Express
these are also selected

So do I put in 13.0

What would be the recommended settings for domestic?

I put it to 0:1 and its does nothing to the shopping cart... each weight for the items is around 0.275 .... What can I do to get it to work?

Try setting your Tare Rate to: 0:0

If i do that nothing comes up?

Do you get any debug logs in the /logs directory?

Turned on the debug in logs and I received nothing

no error messages... Just that First class option doesn't show up..
