A link to your site would help, as would some idea about what you mean when you say 'it doesn't show up'.

It is very hard to give an informed response to this because we simply don't have enough information about your site, or the search terms you are using.

For example, if you are selling "fish food", and your search query is for "bird food" it shouldn't be any surprise that it doesn't show up. Granted, this a 'silly' example to demonstrate the point, but hopefully you get my drift.

A less silly example would be a search for simply 'food'. Sure this will be found in google for your site, but it could be the millionth entry on the list.

As stevesh has suggested, a link to your site would be useful (along with any of the search queries that you are using).

Cheers

Re: Getting my website on Google

I obtained a link to your site from your profile.

Firstly, when I paste your domain name into the address bar it takes forever until the page actually displays.

Then - and that seems to be the cause of your site not showing up in Google - when I click on any link (Home, New Products etc) I am ending up at (yourdomain).authsafe.com/......

It seems that your site does not have a real home on a fast host. Did you have a reason not to purchase your own hosting (virtual server or....)? There are umpteen subdomains on authsafe and yours is just one needle in the haystack hence no listing in Google's top pages.

I had the same experience too.

Agreed.

Not agreed. If this were the the case we would never have been able to reach the site by typing in the domain name.

If I had to take a punt, I'd say what is happening is that the OP wanted to use the authsafe shared SSL and was told to use (yourdomain).authsafe.com for this, and as a consequence has defined this in the configure.php files for both SSL and Non-SSL requests.

Solution: Change the HTTP_SERVER define to read 'http://yourdomain.com'

Thanks for the extra push in the right direction Frank. I think you pretty much nailed it. :)

Cheers
