Any way to have hidden notes associated with an item

I need away to add a line or two of hidden text to the product page. Much of what I sell is available to me through several different distributors, and I get better prices on specific products from certain distributors. Better pricing is not the same across the board for an entire product line, so its important to me that I can keep track of which distributor is my preferred source for a specific item, followed by my alternatives. Since I have nearly 2,000 items, i cant easily keep track of my pricing outside of Zen Cart.

This extra field really should be in the product administration page, and of course I don't want the customer to ever see this information. Is there a plug in like this available?

Thanks

Only a shot in the dark but how about the dual pricing mod as a start point?

Take a look at Admin Notes in the Plugins section at the top of the page. It might help.
