Keeing products from 2 categories from being added into the cart

My issue is that I need to be able to make products from 2 categories not ordable. So what I need for them is instead of the "Add to Cart" button, I need it as if it were in "showcase" mode for just those products and give the user the ability to contact us for the information on the products. Also, based on those products we need to add an alert to the product page telling them the information we will need when contacting us.

I know I'll in some way need to use the master_categories method. I'm just not sure how I make it to where the product itself shows up in a "showcase" sense or what file I need to exactly edit to get this to work.

The reason behind me having to do this, is because the firearms themselves need a different shipping address directly to there FFL dealer while everything else can be shipped directly to them. But I still want the customer to have the ability to see the product, price, etc.

Any information would help.

If you only need a simple solution, why not use the "call for price" setting? Then just change your button text to something like "call to order". You can tell them as the closing paragraph in your description what you will need from them.

Because I still want the price of the guns displayed on the site. Can you use call for price and still have the ability to output the price on the product page? I have actually thought about using that but if the price isn't going to be displayed, it kind of takes that option out. I'm needing the ability to show the price so I have the ability for people to compare our prices to other dealers online.

EDIT: That worked. You can tell I'm a new zenner :3 Thanks. That's exactly what I needed. I was thinking it was going to remove the pricing from the actual product itself but it seems to have kept it. Hopefully this is exactly what I need.

OK You can also add the price to the product descriptions with a short explanation.

Do you know where I can change the button text for Call for price? I can't find it in the template or languages/english folder anywhere?

There's a link to that specific product I'm testing on. As for the buttons, I'm actually using CSS buttons on my website but that's not getting any of the CSS is why I asked that. And I know you can normally change the buttons in the buttons_description.php file.

I confirm that it is an image.
If you want to change, simply add another image with the following path and filename:
/includes/templates/classic/images/call_for_prices.jpg

It will be automatically picked up.

OK The first time I looked at the image on top.
Below there is the text.

Open the following file:
/includes/languages/english.php

and look for the following line:
define('TEXT_CALL_FOR_PRICE','Call for price');

There you can change the text.
