Blank Discounts stopped working

Is there anything "odd" about that one Product?

What is its name?

If, before you add the Quantity Discounts on the Price Manager, you go to the Catalog, do you see the Product on the product_info page? the product listing? the New Products centerbox?

Can you go back to the Product Price Manager and hit EDIT ... then hit Add Discount Quantity ... you should see 5 blanks added ... now set the:
Discount Type:

Set the Price or Special ...

Set the Qty and Percentage/Amount/Amount Off ...

Hit UPDATE when done ...

Hit EDIT PRODUCT near the top of the screen so you go back to where you can EDIT the Product itself ...

Hit CANCEL hist the $ for Product Price Manager ... do you see the Discount Quantities set? If you go to the Catalog, do you see the Discount Quantities on you product_info page?

Seems to be something wrong with this software maybe?? Now the test product that was working a few minutes ago has stopped applying the discounts now.

Yes, all those things are working and if this is a clue, the test product is no longer working even though I have not touched it since I added it a few minutes ago. Some kind of bug it seems? The name of the product is Men's Basic T-shirts in a category named clothing. And yes, it is showing up in all those places, the product page, etc. And f everything is working, how can it just not be working the next minute?

The screen shot shows you do NOT have set the most important thing ...

Discount Type:

That has to be set or they will not work ...

I am a little surprised if they disappear because that is not set ...

Do they actually disappear in the Admin or just the Catalog?

NOTE: I am assuming you are using the Product Type called Product General and not any of the other Product Types and have not changed the Product Types in any way ...

Wow, that must have been what it was, just don't understand how the setting gets changed by itself, unless it defaults back to "none" if you enter the blank discount. If I simply kept missing that, I apologize. Thank you!

No, that's not what it was! The problem is when I add attributes like sizes or colors, the discounts stop working. I thought that was the case, because I have been very careful. (Just that one particular screenshot showed the setting with "none".)

Okay, so that's the problem, now how to fix it? So strange when the attribute controller was working with the quantity blank discounts/price manager earlier. Just saw your question Ajeh about changing the product type/general and no I haven't change anything there.

We may have a fun one of Attributes and Qty Discounts are not friends because of Pried by Attributes ... but before I tell you that ...

Can you perhaps post an URL to this Product on your site so I can peek at this Product?

I may need you to give me your settings on your Product and Attributes regarding price ... but perhaps I can peek at it and see the issue ...

Unfortunately I got tied up on work for the last many hours and now the flat liner of the brain is kicking in at 3:30am and I need to re-look at this when I wake up ... hate those brain quits working moments on an issue like this ... :blink:

Not so awake yet but thought I'd add that the discounts were working even with several attributes applied and even with not one, but at least 4 products in the category.

If I delete the attributes the discounts work. Add attributes and discounts don't work. I can go back and forth doing this, with same results.

Okay so far cannot get comfy enough for a long sleep so back to you ...
