Can't insert images into newsletter

Hi, I'm having trouble inserting images into the newsletter. The popup window comes up, I enter the image URL, I can see the image in the preview, but when I press "OK" - nothing happens.

I just tested that in my test site, and it works as it should. What do you mean by 'nothing happens' ? When I click on OK, the image appears in the newsletter editing box. Please provide an example of the image URL you're using.

And, what HTML plugin are you using ?

I literally mean that nothing happens! The image doesn't appear, the popup box doesn't change - I have to close the popup window.

I tried with a random image from Photobucket: http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e223/themarquisde/leaves.jpg & also a URL for an image that's in my own WordPress website. The previews generated okay inside the popup window.

I don't know if I am using a HTML plugin. How do I find that out?

What version of Zencart are you using ? Earlier versions used HTMLArea, which was buggy and unreliable.

That will be it. It's version 1.39h.

This is a client's site and I tried upgrading it, but unfortunately a previous developer has made a real mess of the files and I'm not sure it can be done :-(

Try installing this: http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1098

and select it from the dropdown at the upper left of the page. Should work better.
