Can't get Free Shipping to USA Only. This should be dead-simple.
I am about ready to get rid of ZenCart and find another solution.
I've been using ZenCart for 5 years. I'm at v 1.5.0.
This should be Dead-Simple, but has turned into something so complex it must have come from the government.
- I want to have Free Shipping to any and all USA destinations.
- I want to charge Postage only for any and all Non-USA destinations.
Why is this so hard? eBay does it in their sleep.
If I use "Always Free Shipping" in the product listing, the "Free Shipping" icon shows in the catalog listing, but Free Shipping is offered to all address, not just USA.
I have Freeshipper, Freerules and freeoptions installed, one, all, or in combinations. I have defined and used a Zone for United Sates, All Zones.
As soon as I define any of the free modules to use my United States Zone, the little status icon turns from green to orange. I don't know what that means.
When I open the Shipping Modules page, I get a Yellow warning:
"Shipping Configuration errors!
The parameters set in Package Dimensions Config #1 are invalid, please enter valid shipping parameters. Current setting will be overridden with default: 'regular;+'
The parameters set in Package Dimensions Config #2 are invalid."
With no other clues about where I can fix this. The USPS module has the default minimum dimensions entered, so what other parameters does this warning refer to?
Finally, when the USPS options are displayed in the Shopping Cart, none of the rates are selected. A red warning states: "Your available shipping options have changed. Please re-select your desired shipping method."
What must I do to get Free Shipping to any USA address, but charge postage to any non-USA destination.
