Admin > Configuration > Dynamic > Exclude Options. Can this be Customised
We have migrated over from 1.3.8 (finally) onto the new ZC and we're changing all our data from category driven filters to attribute driven filters. There are some attributes that we don't want to show in the filter system so we're using Admin > Configuration > Dynamic > Exclude Options. This work well but unfortunately it is not fancy enough to ‘show these filters for Category A only' and then 'show these other filters for Category B’. That would solve all of our problems if it did that.
Is there a way to hack into the module code and tell the site that it should not display certain filters for certain categories? So for example, when user clicks on "bridesmaids flowers" the it will not show the filters for "flowergirls flowers" and "corsages"? It's just that all of these categories have cross-linked products with the same attributes.
