product not found 404

hi all i am currently having an issue where if we upload products it comes up with 404 product not found, however if the customer adds the product to their cart , then click on the product when its in their cart it works fine.

This is the error on the page:

Not Found

The requested URL /20_50/661/d/Clip_On_Fan__150mm_(6 was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Try turning off your URL rewriter and see if that helps?

how do u turn off url re-writer and is there any risk of losing the other products if i turn off your URL rewriter

We don't know what rewriter you're using. At least one has an option under Admin - Configuration.
