Template disappears

Hi I have searched for this and cant find an answer.

Every so often the template disappears and I have to update it again in admin. |When I look in the database the template name has been deleted. I have done a complete new install both files & Mysql and the problem persists.

any help?

Nothing in the core code does that.
Possible causes:

• someone/something did it via the Template Select screen in your admin
• you're using a plugin that's mangling the database data
• something's wrong with your admin sessions and the changes aren't actually being written to database properly, but even that is an "edge case" because it would require an awful lot of other things to be wrong for that to happen
