Shipping charge gone

I have just done a new install and find that the shipping charge is not being shown anywhere. The amount is added into the FINAL TOTAL but not shown in Paypal or even the site invoice as a separate item.

Re: Shipping charge gone

Could you check in Modules ... Order Totals ... that the Shipping ot_shipping is installed and enabled?

Re: Shipping charge gone

Also, you didn't say which shipping module is providing the shipping price during checkout.

I gather this means you had indeed customised your settings, and had turned off the ot_shipping module? ... because the ot_shipping module is installed and enabled in a new install.

.. which begs the question: why did you turn that off?

I'm asking because I want to know why people would decide to turn that off in the first place.
What was the logic behind turning that off? What behaviour were you trying to suppress?
