Can I setup registered shipping?

I would like to setup registered only shipping for some specific countries. The option should be automatically set on when a customer comes from one of these countries while checking. Exact help please. Many thanks:smile:

Perhaps an example of the countries you are trying to do this for would be helpful too ...

Registered shipping, with other words, means an insured and trackable package. This is kind of extra service compared to normal air mail. I need this option to use for countries like Italy or Russia where are unsafe to send normal air mail. So this option should be automatically switch on when a customer go shopping from one of these countries. What to edit please?

I have done this by cloning Zone rates and called it something like zones2. For how to clone a shipping module do a search here on the ZC forum. You might also find a ready-made module in the plugins section.

Thank you, I found "Multiple Shipping Zones Module" in the plugins section. Problem with this module is that it offers a second shipping option to specific zones but I want to have no option but only one (registered shipping) for above mentioned countries and some more. The point would be to use pre-defined shipping method and quotes, similarly when an order reaches total amount of 50 EUR or more (in my case) and "Free Shipping" module is switch on automatically while checkout.

Extract the file to a temp folder and upload the content to your site - the file structure conforms with the standard ZC file structure.

Log into your admin and go to Modules > Shipping. Click on the relevant shipping module and click the install button.

You configure this in just the same way as the ZC stock zones module is configured.

Thanks... but I use two shipping methods: same rates to all countries and free shipping above a pre-defined value of total order. What I still want is to add registered only option to some countries where post service is not safe.
