Discount not being applied at checkout

ZenCart 1.5.1

Coupons stopped working a few months ago. Just now getting around to troubleshooting it.

The coupon is accepted and the following text is shown at checkout: Success Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon.

However, there is no money actually being taken off. This is true for all the different coupon codes I've attempted.

What are all of the settings one of your Discount Coupons that is not working?

Are you trying to combine Amount/Percentage with Free Shipping?

What Restrictions, if any, have you set on the Discount Coupon?

Hi, I have the same problem,

I am using v1.5.1 and shipping modules aupost and Free Shipping.

Coupons are send via email fine and also shows that there is a coupon as can be seen in the attachments but it does not show on the calculations. Shipping is not included in the coupon % calculations by choice.

Not sure what I am supposed to do with the 'Products Price Manager ' I want all categories to be included in the free shipping and the coupons .

Basically I am offering free shipping any time and 30% discount on first orders only.

I need a hand please.

What are your settings on the Discount Coupon?

Do you have any restrictions set on it? If so, what are they set to?

I can reproduce this problem in your cart however, I can't find any of the source code in your cart to display the ot_coupon module, does this happen when you change to the Classic Template?

Yes I have tried 'Classic ' and results are the same.

Can first report this re Forum. When I view the forum in Google Chrome I can not enter any text when I want to post. Impossible to write and all the writeable area is shaded grey.

And you checked your Zone for Australia to ensure the DETAILS are set up right?

I have added 'Store Pickup' so that you can test it.

In Zones setup as usual except I have deleted many countries I do not want to sent. I used Zencart admin to delete the individual countries.
List includes All Au states + all the additional countries I have listed

In Zone Definitions - Taxes, Payment and Shipping; I have

Zone Name; Australia, World
Zone Description: Australia > Australian Free Shipping Zones
Zone Description: World> All Countries except Australia

Australia settings: Australia > All Zones (which lists all the AU states)

Ok I have done this , it says on the /index.php?main_page=checkout_confirmation 'Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon' but totals still does not show the discount. That's what it said before as well (so there is no difference) in the outcome so far. :-(

Your checkout_payment and** checkout_confirmation **pages are not being passed the information to display.

You said you have the same results with the Classic Template which points at modified code in the shopping_cart.php, header_php.php or core files.

What other modules do you have installed that have made any changes to the shopping cart group of files?

I also used winmerge to compare with original files and they match

Uncheck on the Discount Coupon the Free Shipping ... if it works, then you need to customize the code to allow for both a Discount and Free Shipping at the same time ...

WOW it worked! (mind you I cleaned all the core files and made sure they were originals)

Uncheck on the Discount Coupon the Free Shipping >> Worked!

And now Free shipping is still working without any customisation (?).

I haven't checked for outside Australia customers het. I'll post my finding here.

The main problem is that Discount Coupons where designed to be either Precentage, Amount or Free Shipping ... they were not designed to mix and match these settings ...
