Seeking to understand GPL2 code / "commercial" module relationship
On another note, due to the restrictions on calling GPL2 code (such as all of the Zen Cart functions including zen_href_link)... A "commercial" module not released under a compatible license may not be able to fully integrate in Zen Cart (or call these functions)...
A thread already created has resulted in the above comment, which I am seeking to understand. Is there something about GPL2 code that prohibits the ability of a "commercial" product's integration with Zen Cart? Could the above comment be clarified a little more? Is all php considered to be under the GPL2 license? Sorry, I feel that in this regards I have missed a boat.
