Attribute Pricing

Hi Guys:

I am working on replacing all of my option values to the proper option name and I have run into a problem again with attributes. I have the store off of down for maintenance so you can see. I am getting the pricing adding together when I just want them presented as they are. I have set up other products just like this but this one isn't reacting the same. What am I doing wrong?

Pricing is in a dropdown which is at the bottom. If you click on the last one, instead of 109.99, you get 199.99???

If you want the Attributes to have the Price on each on be the final Price, then you want to set the Product Price to 0.00 and set the Product to Priced by Attribute ...

Next, edit your Attributes and remove the + on the prefix ...

Now the Price you see on the Attribute will be the actual Price ...

If you do not see a Product Price displayed, you need to edit the Attributes to be included in the Price by marking them:
**> Include in Base Price

When Priced by Attributes YES
**

OK: I have tried this before but I just did it again. I adjusted the product price to show 0 and set the price to be priced by attribute. The + has been gone on the prifix and the Base Price is When priced by attributes is checked Yes. Now the price is missing on the product itself. I have done this with other products and everything is fine. This is different for some reason.

So looking at the Product you see:

Product Priced by Attributes: (dot is here) Yes No *Display price will include lowest group attributes prices plus price

And on the Attributes Controller you see the two purple colored icons showing?

Mark your first Attribute for:
**Please make a selection **

as Display Only YES (yellow icon)

You do not want that Attribute to be able to be added to the cart ... this also makes it so you are not adding 0.00 + 0.00 to the Price when building the display price ...

Attributes can seem tricky at first ... that is because they are a nightmare from ... err ... umm ... they are tricky ... :cool:

Believe me, when that happens, I will remember all of you. I agree, Attributes are a pain in the ..... well, you know. I can't believe I have to redo my whole site because I messed them up at the beginning, but you live and learn.
