Issues ordering product with multiple attributes

Hi

If you check this page http://www.ukalpaca.com/dev/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=40&products_id=99 you will see at the bottom that there are multiple attributes, this causes a problem as if you select 'dk 50 balls' '01 parchment' and add to cart, it will also add 'dk 100 skeins' 'black' to shopping cart which is not required. Is there a setting, or work around that will stop this from happening?

You'll need to add an Option Value of "Please Select" for the Option Names in both attributes. Make that value "display only" and make it the default with a Sort Order of 0.

i tried this, but if you go to http://www.ukalpaca.com/dev/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=40&products_id=99 and select dk 100 skeins parchment, and leave dk 50 balls as 'please select' when i click add to cart i then getb this message at the top of page:

Please correct the following:
On the Option for: DK 50g Balls you picked a selection which is temporarily out of stock: Please Select

have i missed a setting, or sumpt?

Did you set the Please Select to 'display only'?

yeah, did that, is this something you have working on an installation of your own?

Looking at your site again, I think you're going to have to find another way of doing this. You can't have both, one or neither attribute set as Display Only and have things work. I'm not clear about how the skein/ball thing and the colors work (I can't buy a skein of Midnight Blue ?), but you may have to separate skeins and balls into different products.
