Pointing Domain Name Directly to my store subdirectory

I need to have people logging on to my domain name to no longer go to my current web pages but instead go directly to the Zencart pages I have just created. Right now this can be done by logging on to https://www.mysite.com/zencart. I would like people to now just log on to https://www.mysite.com to reach directly my newly created Zencart pages. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If other postings already cover the subject, none of my key words brought those up.

The best way to do this is to move your Zen Cart installation to the root of your domain. See the tutorials:

Wouldn't the OP also want to use some htaccess code or similar to redirect from the subdirectory to the root directory at that point?

You can also go into your host's CPanel and set up a redirect.

Yes, you would want 301 redirects to handle search engines etc. who already have the subfolder location indexed. You can use .htaccess, or a redirecting index.php file in the subfolder. (I did that when I moved my first site from its development subfolder to root.) See Forwarding from old shop to new?, especially post 22.
