Styling top category links

Hi,
I am trying to work out how to style one top category link differently to all the other links - have no idea how to go about it - is there someway of applying a class based on category?
Thanks

Easiest way to figure this out now and in the future is to get firebug which will work with firefox. Allows finding the exact class name (other than simply looking at the page source to identify what the class is for the category.

You can use either Categories Dressing or Categories-Tabs Dressing from Plugins, depending on whether you are talking about the sidebox or header categories.

The stock categories menus are not distinguishable by individual category.
