Fill the total_weight table without having to click on the USPS click-in-Ship Mod

I have the mod USPS Click-in-Ship and it creates a new table inside Orders table called total_weight. So it fills this when you click on the click on the auto fill click and ship button with the weight. Is there a way to get it to fill it when the order is placed?

The Reason.

So i am using the mod order export-shipping and it does not export the order weight because of how zen cart calculates order weight. It does shipping method which shows the weight but not in separate col. and also if they get free shipping then your out of luck since it doesn't show the shipping weight.

So if i can get click-in-ship to auto-fill this then i can export all the orders at once with the correct shipping weight.

Any help would be appreciated.

Solution: Check the action of click, get the code and copy to the top of page.

Would I put that on the order confirmation page? Or what page would i put it on? Can you think of a way to go through old orders and i have it update it?
