Some problem after move to VPS server PHP Version 5.4.22

Ok here problem in the admin . Can show the page but have this error line .

Zen Cart 1.3.9h is not supported under PHP 5.4. What are the server requirements?

One can either configure the VPS to use PHP 5.3 or upgrade Zen Cart to a newer version supporting PHP 5.4.

If i change the php to 5.3 the server - somthing loss ?

i change to PHP Version 5.2.17 and all is work good .

If i want upgarde from 1.3.9h to 1.5.2 what the next step ?
