Can I track privately sent voucher

Is it possible to trace what has hapend to a gift voucher sent by a customer to another customer.

If I understood the question correctly, then no not particularly... You should be able to tell who purchased it, and then eventually who used it, but not necessarily what happened between the two points. (Was it texted via phone, did someone read it off in discussion, was an email forwarded, etc...).
