Quickbooks Enterprise integration?

Can "Quickbooks Enterprise" be added to the Zencart like FedEx for shipping? Has this be done anywhere? if not QB. then is there something else in its instead ?

The only way QuickBooks endorses importing information is via their API, which is not possible to integrate with via only server-side code.
