smtpauth mail has suddently decided to stop working??

litterally this evening after having this set up for I dont know how long smtpauth has stopped working. I have reverted back to php mail for now but am a bit confused as to how this can suddenly stop working?

is there a way I can debug this because I am getting no error in the error log.

When i attempt to send a test mail to a test account it returns this:
Email Error: SMTP Error: Data not accepted.

please help.. I have contacted my host and they cant see anything wrong.

Sorry only just seen your reply and really should have updated this. Turns out the firewall had an update and the setting SMTP_BLOCK had enabled! All sorted now :-)
