USPS Post office rate problems today?

Hi,

I'm having a lot of trouble getting domestic postal rates today using the latest USPS shipping module. International rates are coming up ok, but for the last few hours domestic shipping rate inquiries are not being returned for me. No problems before today since updating on 1/26. Debug emails for the failed rate requests are coming in with no info.

Anyone else experiencing problems today?

From what I can see, the USPS production server is having a bad hair day. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't ...

I have not received anything from USPS to provide a better answer than, just keep trying ...

NOTE: it is intermittent for both Domestic and International rates ...

It's not working for us either (using the latest module and 1.5.1).

Good to know I'm not the only one.

I upgraded to the new 2014 files, but noticed that there isn't one for those of us still on 1.3.8a. Any reason this is the only update not supporting 1.3.8? All the previous ones have had a 1.3.8 support. If it does work, it'd be great to just include that on the Plugins page so we know it is supported.

If anyone knows why the USPS module in general isn't working right now, please post away :)

It should probably work on v1.3.8 but we do strongly recommend that you upgrade that buggy, insecure and out of date version of Zen Cart ...
