All product links redirects to the home page

Hello

I tried to find answers here but could not find anything thus posting for help:

I am running ZC1.5. When clicking on any products in my site, the site redirects to the home page. When clicking on categories, the subcategory opens, when clicking on a subcategory, the product listing page works...but when clicking on any individual product, the site goes back to the home page.

I thought maybe that was an issue with the .htaccess file but it has not been touched in years since I set up the site. I have not changed anything in the backend. I am at a complete loss...I've started a ticket with the hosting company to see if there might be something that they can do or have done recently to cause my site to act like this...Can anyone please point me to the right direction?

I navigated to a couple of product-listings (and the all-product listing) and had no issue, i.e. clicking on a product's link took me to the product's page.

Thank you lat9. I re-instated an older copy of my .htaccess file and it seems to have solved the problem. What's more troubling is that I have not touched the .htaccess file in over a year so not sure how it got corrupted. While I'm wondering if I was hacked, I'm not raising that flag until I check things more. I've made a back up and now checking to see how/why the .htaccess file was changed. This issue was due to the .htaccess file and has been resovled.
