I want to verify an account, need help

Hello:

I want to verify my website on my Pinterest account. In order to place a line of code, I need to know where the index page is. If it isn't the index page I am looking for then, it's whatever the name of the file is. It is the same place you would place the code for Google. Can someone tell me what the file is and what the file path to it is? Once I know the answer to this I am definitely going to make a permanent note of it.

If the instructions said to place it in the head section then you would include it in the file at includes/templates/your template directory name/common/html_header.php.

I just checked that path and I don't think this is it. I know that I placed some Google code there before but I don't remember where it was. Is there anything similar to that?

I think I am finally losing my mind. That wasn't it either. As a matter of fact, neither of those two pages are showing all of the changes I know I have made. I just don't know where I placed them???

I found it easier to verify Pinterest by using the Pinterest html file instead of line of code.

Just upload the file to the root folder.
